Foxy Knox Press was founded by South Australian teacher and author Carlee Knox with one simple goal: to create stories that children ask to read again and again. Inspired by real family moments, every story is thoughtfully written to spark imagination, encourage meaningful conversations and nurture a lifelong love of reading.

A sweet and comforting story about losing something special
Where Could Bunny Be? is a gentle and heartfelt children’s book about a child missing a beloved stuffed toy. The story follows Oscar as he wonders where Bunny could be, imagining all kinds of fun adventures Bunny might be having — from the beach to outer space, pirate treasure, football, and more.
What I liked most is how the book turns the sadness of losing something special into something softer and more imaginative. Instead of only focusing on the loss, it encourages children to remember the happy times and imagine that the thing they miss might still be having wonderful adventures somewhere.
The illustrations are bright, sweet, and very child-friendly, and the relationship between Oscar and Bunny feels warm and relatable. Many children know what it feels like to love a stuffed animal deeply, so the message is easy to understand.
The story is quite simple and a little bittersweet, especially because it deals with missing something that may not come back. But that is also what gives the book its heart.
A lovely, comforting read for children who have lost a favorite toy, or for families who want a gentle way to talk about missing someone or something special.
